Accessibility statement

Accessibility is Paul's professional life's work. It is not a compliance chore here — it is part of the brand.

Our target

Realm Research aims to meet or exceed WCAG 2.2 level AA. We do not use an accessibility overlay or widget; overlays are not a substitute for accessible design.

What we build in

  • Semantic HTML with a single main landmark and a correct heading hierarchy on every page
  • Full keyboard operability, with visible focus indicators on every interactive element
  • Screen-reader support, ARIA used only where native semantics fall short
  • Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels throughout
  • Text contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG 2.2 AA on both the Midnight Vinyl and Warm Ivory surfaces
  • No information conveyed by colour alone — status is always labelled in words
  • Captions and full transcripts for every video we publish
  • Accessible forms with clear labels, error messages and live-region feedback
  • Respect for the operating system's reduced-motion preference
  • No horizontal scrolling and no hover-dependent functionality
